Trap season continues with Emsallam, live at MAAYA BERLIN on April 5th!

Brash. Melodic. Rebellious. Jordanian-Palestinian rapper and audio-visual artist Msallam Hdaib aka Emsallam is back, bringing his raw energy and fearless lyricism to Berlin. Across every artistic medium he explores, Hdaib boldly challenges taboos, delivering unapologetic commentary rooted in the political, cultural, and artistic history of his region.

Best known for his groundbreaking albums Post-Colonialism (2018) and Dyslexia (2020), Emsallam mixes Arab folk with trap to create a sound that’s both deeply personal and explosively high-energy. We highly recommend checking out his EP Khawa for a taste of his unique fusion before the show.
