SETAREH X freut sich, die 12. Ausgabe von Genius Loci anzukündigen und präsentiert die Werke von fünf jungen, aufstrebenden Künstler:innen: Rosalie Becher, Sofía Magdits Espinoza, Annabelle Agbo Godeau, Alyce Ford und Jihye Rhii.

Komm gerne vorbei auf ein paar kostenlose Drinks und spannende Gespräche über Kunst. Die Künstlerinnen werden anwesent sein.

Die diesjährige Genius Loci XII-Ausstellung bietet eine vielfältige Auswahl an Kunstwerken, die von Gemälden und Zeichnungen bis hin zu Skulpturen und Installationen reicht. Die Ausstellung vereint einzigartige Künstlerinnen, die an der Kunstakademie Düsseldorf studiert haben und nun zusammenkommen, um eine vielseitige und facettenreiche Präsentation ihrer aktuellen Arbeiten zu schaffen. Seit ihrem Abschluss an der Kunstakademie zwischen 2022 und 2023 haben diese Künstlerinnen zunehmend ihre Werke international für renommierte Institutionen ausgestellt.

SETAREH X hat es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, aufstrebenden Künstler eine Plattform zu bieten und sie auf ihrem Weg zu unterstützen. Diese Künstlerinnen wurden von einer Jury ausgewählt, bestehend aus Kathrin Bentele, der Direktorin des Kunstvereins für die Rheinlande und Westfalen Düsseldorf, der Kuratorin Maren Knapp Voith und der Künstlerin Astrid Styma.

SETAREH X is thrilled to announce the 12th edition of Genius Loci, presenting the work of five young, emerging artists: Rosalie Becher, Sofía Magdits Espinoza, Annabelle AgboGodeau, Alyce Ford and Jihye Rhii.

This year’s Genius Loci XII presents a varied selection of artworks, ranging from paintings to drawings, sculptural works and installation. The exhibition combines unique artists that attended the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, coming together to create a varied and multifaceted display of their recent works. Since their graduation from the Kunstakademie between 2022and 2023 these artists have increasingly been showing their art internationally for renowned institutions. 

SETAREH X is dedicated to offer a platform to up-and-coming artists and support them in their journey. These artists were selected by a jury consisting of Kathrin Bentele, the director of the Kunstverein für die Rheinlande und Westfalen Düsseldorf, curator Maren Knapp Voith and artist Astrid Styma.
