There’s no time for bad moods and laziness: Not only do Viktor Westerberg and Carl Leanderson celebrate life to the fullest, but they also rock their ultra-vital funk-pop so hard that even the most reluctant dancers immediately take to the dance floor.

On their upcoming debut album ‘Existential Disco’ set for release on November 22, 2024, the duo show off sparkling discotheque numbers such as those from the heyday of the genre at the end of the 1970s infused with a chilled Scandinavian melancholy. Opening their hearts without killing the mood, Viktor & Carl chronicle the woes of getting older, losing friends to their own self-indulgent obsessions and not mustering the energy to care about the end of the world.

After touring Europe with Australian phenom Donny Bénet on his ‘Infinite Desires’ tour through the spring of 2024, the duo is bringing their five piece outfit for the ‘Existential Disco Tour’ of Europe in March of 2025.
