Nothing Sacred: One of the earliest Australian bands to play thrash/speed metal, Nothing Sacred formed in Melbourne, Australia in 1983. Encouraged by the enthusiastic response to live shows, and after recording a demo, they recorded their debut EP Deathwish at York Street studios in late 1984. Released independently, the EP sold modestly well, helped by the band playing a large number of shows around Australia, and resulted in the title track "Deathwish" becoming a classic of Australian metal. An LP was released in 1988, titled Let Us Prey. Despite the songwriting and musicianship on the album. Before disbanding in 1989, Nothing Sacred's lead guitarist Mark Woolley, bassist Karl Lean and drummer Sham contributed to HOBBS ANGEL OF DEATH's early work in the late 1980s. Woolley also appeared on Hobbs' first self-titled album in 1988. Although branded as a thrash metal group, Nothing Sacred's music had more of a melodic sound, at times reminiscent of IRON MAIDEN and JUDAS PRIEST.

Monolith: Zwischen Hard Rock und Heavy Metal - mit einer Prise Prog- und Groove Metal - steht bei Monolith Mitgrooven und gute Laune auf dem Programm! Die Liebe zur Vielfältigkeit des Metals vertonen sie zu einem rockigen Ganzen und bringen das live voller Energie rüber. Monolith wurde 2022 von Valentin Klug und Tobias Hemme gegründet. Alsbald traten Josh Wolters am Bass und Andy Tesch an der Rhythmusgitarre hinzu. Im April 2023 veröffentlichten sie mit Gastsänger Nico Joerendt (Messiah's Rising) ihre erste Single "Monolith". Nach der langen Suche nach einem festen Sänger fanden sie im Herbst 2023 mit Max McMillan den letzten Baustein zur Komplettierung ihres Line-Ups. Der ersten zwei Gigs folgten 2024 beim SPH Band Contest, bei dem sie im Stadtfinale und anschließend im Regionalfinale weitermachen dürfen. Die Aufnahmen für die erste EP sind fast fertig, sie soll 2024 veröffentlicht werden.
