Mr Lonely kommt zurück in Mannheim und nicht ganz alleine. Nach tollen Auftritten im letzten Jahr im Cafe Frida und im Kombüse lädt das polnische Quintett dieses Mal zu einem fantastischen Abend zusammen mit dem beim Mannheimer Publikum sehr bekannten R.W. Smith ein!

Mr Lonely entstand aus einem völligen Chaos aus bluesigen Gitarrenklängen und jazzigen Bläsermelodien inmitten von Rockenergie. Mit bittersüßen Texten und augenzwinkernder Melancholie führen sie den Hörer durch ein Labyrinth aus frechen Rhythmen und Harmonien. Vertanzt, verträumt, verschieden.

The RW Smith is a singer-songwriter with deep roots in both Brooklyn, NY, and Katy, TX. Growing up in Texas, Roger always had an affinity for music, but it wasn’t until he moved to New York City in the early ‘90s that he truly found his voice. His music is influenced by Folk and Americana, with a raw and heartfelt sound.

After relocating to Germany, Roger released his debut EP in 2019. Now, in 2024, he’s back with a set of singles that embody a "sitting in a rocking chair on your front porch as you watch the sun go down" vibe—simple, reflective, and honest.
