Local Bass Live DJ Contest

The Local Bass Live Contest offers aspiring DJs the chance to demonstrate their skills in front of an audience. It's all about mixing and creativity, which is why followers and likes are not important. After submitting an application in the form of a 30-minute mix (all DnB subgenres are allowed), two selected artists compete against each other live @cubeduesseldorf and show what they've got. After the event, the recorded sets are evaluated over a week. The DJ with the best performance gets the chance to play another set at the next Local Bass event.

JURY

The submissions and live sets are evaluated by a Local Bass jury. Its all about track selection, mixing skills and creativity.

APPLICATION (via Instagram)

1. Send us a Message that you want to take part, you will then receive the artwork as a background

2. Record a 30-minute mix and post it publicly on Soundcloud with the title: "Local Bass Live DJ Contest - (your DJ name)"

3. Share the mix in your story and tag us

The deadline for applications is March 14th at 10 p.m.

After the pre-selection, the two finalists will be announced on March 21st at 7:30 p.m.

DJ RULES

The contest is aimed at hidden talents who have had little or no opportunity to play at a rave. Our goal is to give unknown and secret talents a stage. DJs who have already performed several times or in larger clubs are excluded. Applicants must be able to play on a Pioneer Cdj/Xdj and Djm setup for the live contest.
