Guided tour through the Eierhäuschen with Helena Ommert in English

Das sagt der/die Veranstalter:in:

As part of the exhibition opening Hidden Realities, during which the entire Eierhäuschen will be activated, Helena Ommert will offer a special guided tour from 12:00 to 13:15 on this day. The tour begins in the Eierhäuschen, taking visitors through the entire building and ending in the outdoor area. Participants will have the opportunity to explore various rooms within the house that are otherwise not accessible, such as the communal kitchen of the resident groups on the first floor, or the attic with the tower room. They will also have the chance to explore the grounds around the Eierhäuschen.

Helena Ommert (*1997, Berlin) studied painting at the Berlin University of the Arts. As an artist, she addresses socio-ecological topics, such as the concept of a social family and cohabitation with non-human life and garden culture. Seeds, small and micro-organisms, and plants are objects of her artistic research and practice on cultural, political, and aesthetic levels. In addition to her artistic work, she works as an art educator at various institutions in Berlin
