The pain after another failed pregnancy can be difficult to manage and a counselor urges a woman to write a letter to her unborn child. Several years later, the woman finds a forgotten document, ltmuc.doc, on her laptop. the film depicts what was then too difficult to type out in words.

A group of young writers seeks orientation wavering between harsh criticism of the system and rapprochement towards the literary establishment. Reminiscent of the literary scene in East Berlin's Prenzlauer Berg district, the achievements of the group around poet Sascha in the fight for a new concept of art are threatened by internal squabbles. Nobody yet suspects that Sascha is fighting on a different front altogether.

Where the Dreams are Waiting - Uli Bez, Germany, 29:20, Documentary
From a young age, Eleni Tsakmakis faced hardships. At 5, she witnessed the Nazi occupation. At 17, she was forced into an arranged marriage. At 23, she and her husband moved to Germany as "guest workers," leaving their children in Greece. At 54, she discovered writing.

Janet Shakil,born in Germany, is a singer, rapper, songwriter, model, journalist, and PR manager. Growing up, she faced racism as her white environment did not accept her as a native German. She wrote and sang "Flying," the soundtrack for "Where the Dreams Are Waiting," exploring the journey of the two protagonists.
