Gianni Brezzo is the band & studio project by the Cologne-based musician Marvin Horsch. Horsch’s profile (somewhere between experimental Pop Music and a bit of Jazz), is reflected both in his scene-hopping and his music. Besides producing Cologne bands like
“Keshavara”, “Woman (founding member) ” and “Xul Zolar”, he recorded his first mini LP “tak € 2”, released by Dorfjungs/ Kompakt, in 2017 with various musicians from Cologne’s jazz scene. This was followed in 2018 by “Siro Gravi” (Dorfjungs), “Tamburi Blu” EP (Papercup) and “Limonata”(Papercup), three Eps including the single ”JAFFA
2.0”, which was particularly successful in the USA and Japan. Gianni released an album called “Traditional Heart” and “Masala Kiss”, the last a collaboration with the ambient artist Cass. In December 2019 Marvin Horsch performed as Gianni Brezzo with Ambient Artist Cass their Album „Masala Kiss“ Live at the Philarmonie Köln.
Marvin Horsch aka Gianni Brezzo was featured on a Remix for the track „If you wanna“ by J.Lamotta (Jakarta Records, 2020), which was synced by HBO’s show “Gossip Girl; Season 2 ” & appeared as guest musician on von Spar’s "under pressure" Album. In 2021 “The Awakening”, 2022 “Tutto Passa” & 2023 “Filigrani” - he has released albums with Berlin Label Jakarta Records and played various Live shows in Germany, Italy and UK with the Gianni Brezzo Band.
