This Sunday, on election day, we're gathering at Craftbeer Corner in Cologne to talk about it. Not as politicians. Not as experts. But as people who care. Because even if we don't all have a vote, we have a VOICE. And that matters🗣️✨

💬 Social Melting Pot is a space where diversity thrives—where open conversations happen with tolerance, empathy, and respect. A place where listening is as important as talking, where we learn from each other instead of pushing each other away.

But here’s the thing—spaces like this don’t just happen. They exist because people show up. If we’re not loud enough, if we don’t engage, these diverse spaces may not be a reality in the future. Just look around—it’s happening in other countries. We can’t take it for granted!

🚨 And here’s why this Sunday is extra special: 

On Wednesday, March 5th, we won’t be able to hold our usual multicultural event. Why? Because of the AFD conference at Gürzenich—just 50 meters from our beloved Craftbeer Corner—requiring extra security measures. 

Both directly and indirectly, Social Melting Pot is affected by political events in Germany.

So let's make this Sunday count! Let's meet, talk and remind each other why a connected, diverse community is worth standing up for.

🌈Liebst du Vielfalt? Sag es nicht nur - mach mit und sei Teil des Wandels!

Wenn wir in ein paar Jahren zurückblicken, welches Deutschland werden wir dann sehen? 🌍

Eines, in dem sich jeder willkommen fühlt, in dem sich Kulturen verbinden und Unterschiede uns zusammenbringen? Oder eines, in dem sich die Türen leise schließen und die Stimmen der Solidarität verstummen?

Am Wahlsonntag treffen wir uns im Craftbeer Corner in Köln, um darüber zu sprechen. Nicht als Politiker. Nicht als Experten. Sondern als Menschen, denen es nicht egal ist. Denn auch wenn wir alle, die hier leben, nicht wählen dürfen, so haben wir doch eine STIMME. Und die zählt🗣️✨

💬 Social Melting Pot ist ein Ort, an dem Vielfalt wächst - wo offene Gespräche mit Toleranz, Empathie und Respekt stattfinden. Ein Ort, an dem das Zuhören genauso wichtig ist wie das Reden, an dem wir voneinander lernen, anstatt uns gegenseitig auszublenden.

Allerdings gibt es solche Orte nicht einfach so. Sie existieren, weil die Menschen dort auftreten. Wenn wir nicht laut genug sind, wenn wir uns nicht engagieren, wird es diese Räume in Zukunft vielleicht nicht mehr geben. Man soll einfach nur hinschauen - in anderen Ländern passiert das schon. Wir dürfen das nicht als selbstverständlich hinnehmen.

🚨 Und deshalb ist dieser Sonntag etwas ganz Besonderes:

Am Mittwoch, den 5. März, fällt unser wöchentliches multikulturelles Event aus. Warum? Wegen der AFD-Konferenz im Gürzenich - nur 50 Meter von unserer geliebten Craftbeer Corner entfernt - die zusätzliche Sicherheitsmaßnahmen erfordert.

Also lasst uns diesen Sonntag nutzen! Lasst uns zusammenkommen, reden und uns gegenseitig daran erinnern, warum es sich lohnt, für eine vernetzte, vielfältige Gemeinschaft einzustehen.
