Dekmantel, one of dance music’s most discerning festivals and record labels, marries forward-thinking, eclectic club music with left-field adventurism and euphoric parties alike. They visit Blitz Club in early December for a night of dance music culture at it’s best. Steering the BLITZ booth into sonic ecstasy will be contemporary House tastemaker Palms Trax, the hotly-tipped Ogazón, and the Dekmantel Soundsystem DJs.

The Amsterdam centered brand Dekmantel has become a synonym for high-quality, contemporary dance music: tight enough fot the mainstream yet peculiar enough for the underground. With a focus on Techno and House, but open to innovative and fresh sounds from Bass Music, Experimental and the vast Global Music spectrum, Dekmantel’s perspective on music honours the past, celebrates the present and embraces the future. Now they’re going on tour and visiting Munich with a lineup focussing on brighter and House-orientated sounds. 

The glowing sounds of Jay Donaldson aka Palms Trax covers past and presents House music and adjacent sounds from Acid to House to many, many more: he’s become a beloved ambassador of the Dekmantel-brand with a string of stirring sets at the events and releases on the imprint too, making him one of the worlds most in-demand House selectors. At the junction of House and Techno, Ogazón spins red-hot vinyls with a classy and modest ecriture, slowly but surely engrossing the dancefloor. It goes without further mention that the Dekmantel Soundsystem stands for staggering selections and terrific tunes: after all, they’ve got a name to prove!
