Come join us for an afternoon of networking, talking sh*t, and spilling the tea with fellow climate enthusiasts in Berlin! We’ve got 5 speakers, including a wildcard guest from a completely different industry, each bringing a 5-min quick-fire session packed with insights (tea🍵) maybe a few F*ck-Up stories. 

Boris Schneider is European Programme Manager at Clean Energy Wire (CLEW) and at the centre of the team's international activities. Coordinating the weekly ‘Dispatch from…’ newsletter, he makes sure that each Friday, CLEW subscribers get the bird's-eye view of the state of the energy transition in a different country. His fascination with under-reported climate stories also motivated him to start ‘The Eurasian Climate Brief’ podcast.

Samarth Kumar works on data and modeling at Agora Think Tanks, helping shape climate-friendly policies worldwide. With a Ph.D. in Energy Economics and Engineering degrees from KIT, IST, and IIT Hyderabad, he's all about interdisciplinary problem solving. When he's not crunching numbers, you’ll find him cooking and dancing in the kitchen, playing tennis, or meditating. 

Maya Shaked is a data scientist with eight years of experience applying machine learning and analytics across the healthcare, music tech, and logistics industries. She holds a degree in Statistics from the University of Chicago and is passionate about using data to tackle complex operational challenges. Currently, she works at Delivery Hero, building machine learning models to optimize delivery systems across 70+ countries, balancing efficiency, cost, and customer experience at one of the world’s largest food delivery platforms.

Joyce Yuan is the founder of Berlin Energy Network. She works at the fun intersection of sustainability and entrepreneurship, curating SERIOUS, FUN, IMPACTFUL, and UNCONVENTIONAL events — because saving the planet should be a lot of fun!

Zhibin Chen is a senior carbon market expert at adelphi consult GmbH. He works on facilitating governments to establish carbon markets, which aims to increase the price of fossil fuel and speed up the low carbon transition.

The five speakers will each have 5 minute to share:
