South London artist Bina (stylized as BINA.) first came onto the scene in 2019 with her debut EP Humble Abode. Fusing elements of alternative R&B, neo-soul and indie, BINA. swiftly became one to watch. Inspired by the likes of Kelela, Erykah Badu and BADBADNOTGOOD, BINA. is representing a generation of vocalists that are choosing not to be constrained by production. Whether on a bedroom pop or an experimental jazz beat, BINA.’s voice will always sit perfectly.
BINA.’s music details the path of a young darkskinned black woman on a journey of self-discovery and introspection. Her music creates a very immersive world for her fans but the extent of her creativity doesn't stop there as she also produces and learnt how to DJ. She has modelled for several brands including Anciela London in London Fashion Week and Doc Martens.
