We want art and culture to flourish in Solingen-Wald - without funding, but with a lot of initiative. 💪 Solingen may often seem like a cultural wasteland, but we see untapped opportunities here. And if nothing works, we make sure that What's happening does!

That's why we founded Waldmeister e.V. in 2007 - our DIY cultural project that runs on membership fees and volunteer help. Here you can organize concerts, parties, readings, lectures, cook-outs or wrestling shows in an informal atmosphere. All in the old train station in Wald, our home for creative ideas. 🌟

Solingen has a proud subculture tradition - we want to build on this and make the city more colorful. To do this, we need fresh ideas and motivated people like you! Whether you want to organize something yourself or help out - we have the space for you.
