The Temporary Gallery is an interface between contemporary artistic and curatorial practice and theory. In addition to exhibitions, lecture and film series, collaborations also take place in the rooms. Artists and curators from Cologne are also advised individually on their upcoming projects. Since 2013, the Temporary Gallery has been institutionally supported as a "Center for Contemporary Art".

Ines Doujak deals with global contexts and explosive issues. From a queer-feminist perspective, she relentlessly analyzes the mechanisms and effects of neoliberal market economy, the relationship between production and consumption, capital and exploitation, colonialism and neocolonial rule, racism and gender roles.
