The Rosenau in Stuttgart's west can look back on a long and traditional history - people have been laughing, dancing and listening with rapt attention here for over 120 years.

Today, the Rosenau's cultural stage is a non-profit institution, the sponsor of Rosenau Kultur e.V., which organizes around 160 programs a year here in the areas of cabaret, comedy, poetry slam, cabaret and concert.

Rainald Grebe, Dr. Eckart von Hirschhausen, Martina Schwarzmann, Rolf Miller, Özcan Cosar, Torsten Sträter, Jochen Malmsheimer, Hazel Brugger, Sebastian Pufpaff and many others had their first performance venue in Stuttgart with the Rosenau. Thus, the names of many established artists can be found on the program. However, an essential feature of the concept is also to offer up-and-coming artists a professional starting point and an established performance venue with the Rosenau.
