The Ringlokschuppen Ruhr is a venue for contemporary theater, performance and dance, as well as cabaret, comedy and concerts. Regional and international artists, current social discourse and diverse art forms come together here. The locomotive shed, built around 1875, is now home to four stages and a vegetarian restaurant. In addition to a variety of works in the theater, the venue regularly initiates participatory projects in the urban space. The Ringlokschuppen Ruhr also regularly presents events in the Mülheim Stadthalle.
