The Rathausgalerie in Munich's town hall is centrally located on Marienplatz. At 750 square meters, the historic hall from 1905 is one of the largest and most popular art venues in the city. Exhibitions of contemporary art are shown here from March to November. The City of Munich's Department of Culture is responsible for the curated program.

The exhibitions offer exciting insights into the Munich art scene and showcase its quality and diversity. Art becomes an experience with events for all interested parties: encounters and discussions with artists and curators, guided tours, workshops and performance projects offer an individual introduction to the themes of the exhibition.
