O-ton is a new concert, recording, rehearsal and project hall in Cologne's Südstadt district, equipped with around 60-70 seats and everything you need for a fine event, rehearsal or high-quality acoustic recordings.

Our 80 sqm hall (4 meter ceiling height) is 100% soundproof (from outside to inside and vice versa) and thus enables completely interference-free events, workshops, rehearsal recordings 24/7 with plenty of daylight - in the middle of the city.

The hall is equipped with an outstanding Steinway grand piano B211, a large BOSE PA system and a 32-channel digital mixing console. We also have a fixed cooperation with the directly neighboring renowned TOPAZ studio, which is permanently wired to our hall, so that from a simple recording in the hall to a large elaborate studio production or live recording, various recording setups (depending on the budget) are possible.

Our hall has exclusive, professionally optimized acoustics between chamber music and studio hall, which can be covered with oak parquet or carpet - depending on your acoustic preference. We have very generous daylight fronts on both sides, a large silent ventilation system (fresh air) which makes prolonged intensive and concentrated rehearsals and work very pleasant. A 13 sqm stage with programmable lighting for stage, theater, video shoots, an electric blackout system and underfloor heating. A top 4k-UKD projector (approx. 4 x 2 m projection) as well as a foyer with barrier-free bathroom/WC and buffet kitchen/bar counter and a large sun terrace, partly covered, are part of the o-ton location.
