The cultural center KAZ (Göttingen Communication and Action Center)

When the bass booms from the left, the flamencas make the floor vibrate, Latin American rhythms groove and a bowl takes shape in the ceramics workshop in front of you, then you are at the KAZ.

At the Wall, in a house with the Junges Theater, culture is offered all year round to watch and participate in. Experienced instructors teach fun and skills in our courses.

Anyone who wants to put their cultural ideas into practice or is looking for a space to practise or discuss is very welcome.

Over 50 member groups from different countries and an experienced team look forward to new ideas and suggestions.

We stand for participation, inclusion and self-determination, promoting individual activity, creativity and dialog between people of different social and ethnic backgrounds. We condemn violence, racism, sexism and anti-Semitism. We promote the development of cultural diversity and education as well as the cultural revitalization of the city as a reliable address since 1976.
