The Walle Youth and Counselling Center sees itself as a place where children and young people, especially those aged between 10 and 16, can develop their personality and find and test their position and role in society.

Among other things, the young visitors are offered sporting, artistic and creative craft activities.

The focus here is less on the performance-oriented level and more on testing and experiencing personal skills and needs. The experiential educational approach serves as the basis of our work.

This approach leads to intensive relationships between the visitors and the staff, which enables the young people to be approachable and open to further offers and support.

In addition to the open-door operation, the focus this year was on expanding the music area of the house, holding various events (concerts, discos, breakdancing, etc.) and numerous projects.

In addition, emphasis was placed on new media in order to reach the target group more quickly and effectively. This has been very well received by the young people and has led to the young people now also communicating with us online, helping to determine and shape our activities
