The jubez is ...

... a cultural education facility for children and young people.

The jubez is the central cultural institution of the Stadtjugendausschuss e.V. Karlsruhe. Here, young people between the ages of 6 and 27 have numerous opportunities to become active and creative: in various artistic disciplines and media, in crafts or in youth cultural projects with special themes and target groups. As an institution for extracurricular youth education, we have open afternoon programs and cooperate with schools and educational institutions in order to reach children and young people from all social backgrounds.

The jubez is an established event venue and reaches a wide audience in Karlsruhe and beyond with live music, comedy, theater, readings and lecture events. The professionally equipped stages host internationally successful bands as well as up-and-coming local artists who can gain their first live experience at jubez. We value a broad cultural spectrum and also see ourselves as a place to discuss socially and politically relevant topics.

With its event rooms, café, various workshops and sports area, jubez offers many opportunities to realize activities and projects of all shapes and sizes. But spaces of possibility are also created in the mind, in our interdisciplinary teams or in exchange with colleagues or cooperation partners. We also offer our users spaces of opportunity: to discover new things, realize their own ideas and develop their potential.
