A master plan to transform the urban green space in the north of the city into a wellness park has been in place since 2001.

Today, various individual projects such as the willow castle, Kneipp facility and motor skills park form a whole. Among other things, visitors can enjoy the "Avenue of Healing Trees", which leads from Marschenhausweg to the boating pond. The senses can be trained on the barefoot path with humming stone. The motor skills park, fitness trail, running track, BMX track, boules court and lawn invite young and old to get active. The extensive sunbathing lawn with individual trees and the rose garden with around 50 different varieties of roses are perfect for relaxation. On the Yin and Yang square, visitors can control the size of the water fountain in the boating pond themselves. Children can conquer three play areas and, for example, climb and romp to their heart's content in the dragon playground with "interactive butterfly meadow", an almost barrier-free tree house. A barbecue area rounds off the varied offer.
