The shopping mile in the pedestrian zone of the city center is also known simply as "Bürger". This is a very modern and beautiful shopping street. The "Bürger" is only open to pedestrians and in some areas also to buses. In Bremerhaven's pedestrian zone, you can stroll under the glass arcades and enjoy the countless stores and cafés over a length of almost 1 km, regardless of the weather.
A direct connection to the Columbus Shopping Center, also known as "Obere Bürger", and to the MEIN Outlet & Shopping Center is possible via the Gläserne Havenbrücke.
Around 250 specialist stores are available for shopping. There are plenty of parking spaces in the Mitte and Columbus Center multi-storey parking lots and the Havenwelten multi-storey parking lot. You can find the full range of parking spaces here. Coming from the highway exit Zentrum, follow the signs to Havenwelten and the parking areas.
Nothing should now stand in the way of your shopping in Bremerhaven city center!
