Erich Sidler has been the director of the Deutsches Theater Göttingen since August 2014. With his repertoire design, he places themes of current events in our society at the center of artistic creation. His management team includes Sandra Hinz (Administrative Director), Schirin Khodadadian (Artistic Co-Director), Michael Letmathe (Chief Dramaturg), Sonja Bachmann (Head of the Children's and Youth Theatre Program), Gabriele Michel-Frei (Theatre Pedagogue), Marcus Weide (Technical Director), Jonas Hennicke (Scheduler and Artistic Operations Office) and Jan Hendrik Buchholz (Head of Communications).

Erich Sidler ensures a varied repertoire and, since 2017/18, ensemble operations on four stages and around 25 premieres per season: dt.1 presents contemporary, artistically sophisticated productions of old and new theater texts as well as musical productions. In dt.2, the program ranges from classical texts to contemporary drama. In the dt.x Keller venue, stage and gastronomy are ideally combined and the dt.x Bellevue is the smallest performance space for the youngest audience members as well as for introductions and after-show discussions. The room can also be transformed into the Bellevue Bar.
