Datscha: Russian food in Berlin

"The dacha is a country house or also a vacation home, which there are in the most different versions, from the allotment garden up to the mansion, to thousands in Russia. Here you can relax from the hustle and bustle of the city and from the stress of work and study, as well as pursue your favorite activities - whether it's drinking a little water, i.e. vodka, with friends, barbecuing, possibly fishing, picking mushrooms, harvesting fruits and vegetables, or sunbathing.

After the great success of our legendary café in Friedrichshain, we have now opened our second café-restaurant in Kreuzberg and finally even our "favorite child", the café-restaurant Datscha in Prenzlauer Berg. There, too, you can now enjoy our Russian specialties in a cozy atmosphere.

The philosophy of our dacha concept is for us to remember our vacation home in Russia, located 43 kilometers from the gates of Moscow. For us, the dacha, as the East Germans say, was the place where we felt free, grew fruits and vegetables, dined and toasted with good friends in the Russian way, declaimed verses, philosophized, made music and, above all, relaxed.

DATSCHA - first and foremost, for us, this is an epitome of Russian lifestyle."
