Craft beer was just the beginning

In recent years, a whole new variety of products has emerged on the beer market. The craft beer movement has quite rightly shaken up the beer market. These were pioneers who brought back centuries-old brewing knowledge and generated a whole range of curiosity. Craft beer has become an integral part of the market, but that was only the beginning. Small and medium-sized traditional breweries are currently experiencing a well-deserved upswing because, in contrast to the long-dominant industrial beers, they can offer a variety of flavors with a strong character.

Not all beers are the same

It is interesting to note that general beer consumption has fallen. Another sign of greater awareness. We consciously eat meat or none at all. A vegan diet is no longer an exception. A supermarket cannot exist without organic products. Wine has long been chosen very consciously and has its own special occasions. The decline in sales of industrial beers compared to the upswing in craft breweries shows that awareness of high-quality, special beers will develop in the same way as awareness of healthy and enjoyable nutrition. The fascinating thing about beer - compared to wine - is that there are no conventions. We don't feel measured by whether, how well and with what technical vocabulary we can assess the quality. Beer is informal, not elitist and at least as diverse.
