Art exhibition vernissage
The preferred starting point for Wiesiollek's work is nature - especially those places and locations where light shapes and models things in a special way. He repeatedly questions his understanding of painting and explores the representability of light and shadow, temperature and climate by means of color and style.
In the process, the real location recedes more and more into the background, becoming merely a pretext for the actual picture - for painting as such.
In addition to the aesthetic aspect, the awareness of the threat to which the fragile forest system is exposed can be sensitized.

This wonderful exhibition thematically accompanies the satirical program "Ist das Wald oder kann das weg?", which will premiere on 5.2.25.
