"When you are in a new culture, you first have to understand it, then see how you can integrate your own culture with it. ... But integrating doesn't mean you lose yourself," the course instructor explains to the newcomers. In Vienna, 52% of residents are of foreign origin. 182 nations live in the city. You can also learn about this in the integration courses offered by the city, which any immigrant can attend voluntarily. ZUSAMMENLEBEN takes a very close look. The consistent minimalist style and the limited location give us a deep insight: What information and values are taught in these courses? And how are they received by the migrants? Ina Borrmann
