We all know them, the "to give away" boxes on our streets. But what stories are actually hidden behind these things that have been given away? Too unimportant and worthless for our own lives, but still too good to banish them completely from this world? Based on these stories and objects found on the street, Çağlar Yiğitoğulları, the internationally award-winning Turkish performer and political refugee, poses questions that affect us all in a more than personal solo performance project at Essigfabrik Lübeck: What does it mean to feel invisible, alien and as if thrown away in a consumer and meritocratic society, always dependent on giving hands?
