Benefit concert: 50 years of German Cancer Aid

Star violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter is particularly committed to actively supporting non-musical causes. Throughout her career, the artist has supported social and health projects with benefit concerts - since 2021 she has been President of German Cancer Aid, which is dedicated to research into cancer, improvements in prevention, early detection, diagnostics, therapy and psycho-oncological care as well as direct support for those affected and their families. In 2024, the foundation will celebrate its 50th anniversary - and of course Anne-Sophie Mutter will not miss the opportunity to take up her violin and bow in person for this celebration of honor. She will play works by Mozart, Schubert, Clara Schumann and Ottorino Respighi in the Berlin Philharmonie. The proceeds will - of course - go to German Cancer Aid.
