In the organizer's words:
AFFECTUS is the third exhibition at the ZN1 PopUp Gallery in Cologne-Rodenkirchen. Hardly anything is as difficult to grasp as a mood. Joy, pain, love or anger are abstract human perceptions. But art has found a way to make the human "AFFECTUS" visible and to preserve it in a similar way, perhaps even to create empathy in the viewer. Abstract art in particular has set itself the task of documenting feelings and moods, but figurative works such as photography are also constantly finding new ways to capture moods.
