Zettel, Schnaps & Gäste - Musik und Talk mit Felix Meyer und Julia Hemmerling

In the organizer's words:

A table with notes and drinks, an evening of music and controversy at the venerable Horns Erben in Leipzig. Also present: German chansoniers and songwriters. People who write their lyrics as if with a scalpel in order to find or reflect the great themes of our time, to think stories from the future and to represent the tradition of poetry and songwriting on the stages of Germany and Europe.

Their names are Sarah Lesch or Dota Kehr, Hans-Eckardt Wenzel, Alin Coen or Konstantin Wecker, they call themselves Max Prosa, Karl die Große or Keimzeit. At this table, you will meet experts from the fields of science, philosophy, film, dance, literature, cabaret, politics and business. In the best case, they are also weirdos and nerds who are busy rethinking this society every day and changing it in the best possible way.

Now, shortly before the new elections, singer-songwriter Felix Meyer and radio presenter Julia Hemmerling are racking their brains: if we want to live freely, what freedoms are actually important to us?
