PERFORMANCE JUNGES SCHAUSPIEL Who talks about the past and why? What is kept quiet about? What is heard and how? The participatory exhibition "Contemporary Witnesses? A Memory Lab" at the Historisches Museum Frankfurt focuses on what Frankfurters associate with contemporary witnesses today: Family histories, experiences of dictatorship, educational paths, political struggles, migration, dealing with crises. These contributions are accompanied by a diverse young ensemble in a polyphonic performance with connecting lines between generations, homelands, history and the present. With passion and humor, they discover historical continuities in their own stories and how home is made possible or prevented. "Zeit für Zeug:innen" is part 1 of the "Gallus-Geschichten" project series.
