Yves Macak has been a state-certified educator for over 20 years and opens the door for us to a world that only a fraction of men in Germany ever get to see.

A world in which men are outnumbered and women like "Tofu-Tina and Crochet-Heike" make up the majority. Yves introduces us to a world in which chair circles, pottery courses and educational weaving are part of everyday life. It is a world in which the "pedagogical morsel" consists of the meagre and one-sided bean and charcoal products of the schoolyard club.

With full vocal and, above all, physical commitment, Yves gives a rousing and pointed account of the long journey from human being to educator and lets us experience first-hand, with tears of laughter in our eyes, what everyday working life in daycare centers, schools and youth leisure centers really feels like.
