Due to numerous requests, we have expanded our range of courses.

In 1.5-hour discussion rounds on 3 consecutive days, festival director, author and director Tom Bohn and actress and coach Beate Maes will talk to filmmakers about the following topics:

Lead In Snowdance - Open discussion round for filmmakers

Thursday, 30.01.2025

This is an opportunity to get to know each other, talk about completed or planned projects and share experiences. The open discussion with festival director Tom Bohn and the participants among themselves will generate inspiration and ideas to make the best possible use of the time at the festival and the resulting opportunities.

Acting guidance for directors - communication on set

Friday, 31.01.2025

Beate Maes gives an insight into her work, which offers directors opportunities for successful communication and collaboration with the actors at eye level. Techniques and approaches are presented that reliably support actors and actresses in maximizing their potential and talent in front of the camera.

Independent film - brainstorming and networking

Saturday, 01.02.2025

At the end of the festival, this discussion round offers time and space for summaries, networking and an outlook on the next plans for the Snowdance Festival. What was good, what can be improved? How can we reach more sponsors - also for film projects? What can Snowdance do to further strengthen the indie scene?

Price information:

10 euros per workshop. The participation fee will be donated to an aid organization. Places are limited. Donations will be collected at the beginning of the workshop and a donation receipt can be issued on request. Registration via beate@maescoaching.de.
