Workshop: Intuitives Malen und Schrift

Head off / intuition on!

Color is a wonderful thing. It can trigger feelings just like words. We combine both elements in a picture and let our intuition guide us. For me, Anja Reitemeyer, this form of painting is a kind of creative meditation. Pure painting - without pressure, without focusing on the result - relaxed and from the heart.

The great thing is that you don't need any previous painting experience for this course!

Content of the workshop:
I will first give an insight into the world of colors, color theory and show the different combinations of color tones using examples.

After the theoretical part, we will dive into color in a very practical way. We will work playfully with various high-quality acrylic paints on artist's paper, using palette knives rather than brushes. We paint without any pressure and initially without focusing on the result.

When choosing "your" colors, you simply let your intuition guide you and I will show you how to experiment with the selected colors and create an abstract painting. This is actually more about meditative action than conscious creation.

We will add words to the resulting abstract surfaces to create word pictures, cards, bookmarks and gift tags.

In our everyday lives, there are fewer and fewer opportunities to create something with our own hands.
In intuitive painting, we playfully reactivate the direct connection from the hands to the heart and brain. We take 4 hours to immerse ourselves in this process.

This grounds us, relaxes us and allows us to find new focus. And it's fun!

The course is suitable for beginners and experienced creatives.

Please note: We work with acrylic paints. These colors cannot be washed out of fabric. Please do not wear your latest clothes or bring an apron for safety.
