Wolf

In the organizer's words:

Imagine your mother shows you a brochure. A vacation camp in the middle of the forest. You only really like trees as a closet. But your mother doesn't get a vacation, so you're allowed to spend a week in the beautiful countryside with a group of young people and low-paid supervisors. A great offer, but you don't feel like it. You share your hut with Jörg, who likes to stay on the sidelines because nobody likes him. But he knows his way around plants and loves hiking. You're more interested in good stories. At night, moonlight falls through the window and a wolf sits outside the hut. A nightmare. Jörg is snoring and you are scared. Jörg is in trouble with Marko and his boys. He's a loser and has to put up with a lot. What can you do? Maybe the solution would be to stand by Jörg. Sometimes you get angry. And then? That's your story. You say: "My name is Kemi, by the way."

Saša Stanišić's "Vor dem Fest" and "Herkunft" are absolute cult performances at Thalia in Gaußstraße. His new novel "Wolf" is a real hit. It is set in the middle of Wallachia, or as Kryptik Joe (Deichkind) raps: "In nature / Everything full of crawling and undergrowth / In nature / It freezes your rump when you bend down / In nature / You slowly go crazy."

After several works at the Nachtasyl, Camilla Ferraz will stage her final play in the "Junge Regie" series with the adaptation of the novel "Wolf" after three years as assistant director.
