The weekly market at the main market is one of eleven weekly markets in the city. It is open from Monday to Saturday. The core selling times are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., but the selling times can vary from stall to stall.
Around 40 traders offer their fresh produce at the weekly market. In addition to fruit and vegetables, these include flowers, delicatessen specialties and cheese, eggs and poultry, honey, spices, coffee and smoothies. The culinary offerings range from original Nuremberg roast sausages to oriental dishes, sushi and Baumstriezel.
On the lounge area in the center of the main market, you can follow the hustle and bustle of the market in a unique setting on one of the colorful chairs, which you can also move to another spot on the square.
