In the organizer's words:
For many, Arkonaplatz is one of the most beautiful squares in Berlin. Residents and lunchtime visitors like to relax in the shade of the trees, especially in summer. Children love the large playground and at the weekly market there are always tasty snacks on offer alongside food - fresh waffles, for example. But who knows that the adjacent elementary school is the oldest school in Berlin? Or that Hertha was founded here in 1892? Back then, the Lorenz and Lindern siblings met on Arkonaplatz to play soccer and subsequently founded the "Alte Dame".
