The city promises dissolution of boundaries. The country contemplation. But where will we be when none of these places fulfill their promises and we feel just as lost on the sandy soils of Brandenburg as we do on the littered streets of Kreuzberg?

When the space of possibility shrinks and we have reached a point in our lives where even romantic transfiguration no longer comforts us? In her new poems, Lydia Daher is drawn to the roadsides in her own atmospheric mixture of rebellion and melancholy. In search of a place to stay - together with a child who constantly reflects and changes her view of the world.
