In his music, WizTheMc mixes catchy guitar licks with melodic vocals, rap, refreshing R&B beats and modern pop. In February/March 2024, the 25-year-old has already performed five shows in Germany and had to upgrade some venues due to rapid ticket sales. On his YOUTHORIA TOUR, WizTheMc will once again play five concerts in Germany in 2025. From February 1 to 16, he will be performing in Munich, Cologne, Stuttgart, Berlin and Hamburg.

He celebrated his breakthrough with the single "For A Minute" (2021), which currently has well over 73 million streams on Spotify and impresses with its laid-back indie pop vibe. It became known worldwide through its inclusion in "Grey's Anatomy" (season 17, episode 1) and in the Netflix film "He's All That" (2021). With three albums, eight EPs and singles such as "All My Friends Are Stoned" (2020), "Catch Me" (2021) and "On My Mind" (2019), WizTheMc has toured in support of Half Alive and Kid Bloom. After appearances at the Osheaga Festival 2022 in Québec and at Lollapalooza Berlin 2023, he recently also made a guest appearance at Hamburg's Reeperbahnfestival.

Sanele Sydow was born in Cape Town in 1999, but moved to Lüneburg with his family at the age of two, where he initially grew up. In 2017, he moved to Toronto, Canada, with the aim of pursuing a career as a solo musician. While constantly working on new contacts with similarly minded musicians under the artist name WizTheMc in his adopted home, he released his two EPs "Blessings In Disguise" and "BackinToronto" in 2018. In 2020, the cosmopolitan released his first full-length mixtape "Growing Teeth", after which "The One" and "Fear of Heights" achieved seven-digit streaming figures. With the EP "What About Now" and its tracks "For A Minute" and "All My Friends Are Stoned" , WizTheMc celebrated his biggest success to date in 2020 and paved the way for an even more successful future. After the two stand-alone singles "World Is Fucked" and "Catch Me" in 2021, the EP "Where Silence Feels Good" was released in 2022. On this EP, WizTheMc trumps in minimalist singer-songwriter style with anthemic indie pop guitars ("Do It Over") and rock sounds ("Everything"). WizTheMc's current single "IYK" also impresses with its omnipresent feel-good attitude and laid-back musical vibe . The club-ready track combines modern beats with soft synthesizers and a catchy chorus that makes you want to dance and sing along.
