In the organizer's words:

On the very day that the Bundestag is remembering the Holocaust and commemorating its victims, the CDU/CSU parliamentary group is condoning the approval of the AfD party, parts of which are right-wing extremist, for its motion to tighten asylum legislation.

Obviously, parts of the motion also violate our constitution and EU law. The candidate for chancellor and party chairman Friedrich Merz and the CDU/CSU have broken their word and dam. This is an affront to our fundamental values and calls for a public protest by all those who stand up for democracy, human rights and a united, strong Europe.

We must send a strong signal now!
