Mountaineering tour from 2023 & 2024

Two trips with Viki and Marcus in 2023/24 to the Khumbu region in Nepal. Starting from the starting point in Lukla, they gradually climbed for several days through valleys and forests. Over passes and high-altitude trails, they reached two six-thousand-meter peaks, Mera Peak and Island Peak, as well as Everest Base Camp at the foot of the world's highest mountain. The lecture gives us exciting insights into the impressive dimensions of the ingenious mountain world in the Everest region and at the same time offers practical suggestions for anyone who might want to try trekking and mountaineering in Nepal for themselves.

Marcus Oertel (Dresden) and Viki Limonka (Vienna) have been traveling in the mountains together for several years. After the Alps, the Caucasus and the Andes, they were tempted to take the plunge into the world's highest mountains. They have not regretted it and are deeply grateful for many unforgettable experiences!
