Wind_Stille

In the organizer's words:

Come along, we're heading for the mountains to capture the sound of the wind! Equipped with field recording equipment (provided by us), we will head towards the mountains on Thursday, December 5th, day one of the two-day workshop, to find out how wind works as a sound and how we can record it. Anna McCarthy will be filming our field recording excursion. We meet at 10:40am at Munich Central Station and take the train together to Schliersee for a two-hour hike to the Hohenwaldeck ruins (requirements: Easy hiking trails and lakeside promenades without difficulty / difference in altitude: 256 meters).
We go in all weathers - please wear appropriate clothing. Please provide your own food and drink!

The following day, Friday, December 6, we will meet at the Ö_Werkstätten in the Färberei and recreate the wind with analog and digital synthesizers. The composition from the collected wind field recordings and the video from the trip to Schliersee will become part of the exhibition installation in the MaximiliansForum.

More detailed information about the meeting point and the hike will be provided after registration!
Registration by Tuesday, December 3 (please give your telephone number and let us know if you need a ticket or have one yourself): oe_werkstatt@kjr-m.de

Participation also possible on individual dates!
