Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, William Fitzsimmons was influenced by music from an early age. His parents, both blind music teachers, instilled and exemplified a love of music in him. He transforms this unique childhood into sensitive sounds and reflective songs that often deal with themes of family, relationships and personal and emotional struggles. Longing, transience and melancholy characterize his two most recent songs "Amsterdam" and "Holding A Place For You".
