How do we get out of the discursive impasse? - Discussion

In the mixture of art, culture and politics, in discussions on Israel and Palestine, Ukraine and Russia or even the topics of identity, gender and religion, an ever-increasing hardening of public discourse can be observed. Sometimes, as at the last Documenta, this no longer takes place at all. Gone are the days when ambivalence could still be tolerated: With the decline of communication, democracy is also withering away. So how do we get out of this impasse?
