In a four-part musical diary for piano, voice, clarinet and percussion, the life's work of Francisca Gonzaga (1847-1935), aka Chiquinha, can be heard in German, English and Brazilian Portuguese. An empowering echo of almost 90 years of life in which she constantly reinvented herself: Hamburg experiences Gonzaga's Choro - fusion of classical music with jazz and Brazilian rhythms.
