When It Falls: L'enfer, c'est les autres (AT) is an immersive, multidisciplinary performance that explores the boundaries between the conscious mind and the collective unconscious. In an intimate, dark environment, it intertwines body and sound to create encounters between self and others: Artists*, audience and the surrounding space.

When It Falls: L'enfer, c'est les autres is also a work in process: as part of the residency at EinTanzHaus, Leonardo Rodrigues draws inspiration from the principle of the black hole and the play Huis Clos by Jean-Paul Sartre. The black hole, a light-consuming region of space-time, symbolizes the pull into the unknown and the confrontation with hidden abysses. This investigation combines development, presentation and dramaturgy, drawing on dreams, unexpected emotions and forms of expression to reveal layers of meaning.

About the winter residencies

In December, January & February, the EinTanzHaus will once again provide the stage for rehearsals and research. This year you can also look forward to a great program of dance evenings, film screenings and residency presentations.

As the audience, you will move closer together on the curtained stage directly on the dance floor and be right up close to the action. So it's always worth checking our program page for the latest dates.
