Since 1953, the Kulturkreis der deutschen Wirtschaft has been supporting young,
up-and-coming talents in classical music. The music prize is intended to
serve as powerful support at the beginning of a musical career
and is aimed at special talents under the age of 30 with recognizable
potential for a successful career.

This year, for the first time in the history of the prize, the four finalists Giorgi Gigashvili (piano), Tjasha Gafner (harp), Guido Sant'Anna (violin) and Rafael Adobas Bayog (flute) will have the
opportunity to present themselves to the jury and the public at a public concert.
